These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of Code Security Alarms’ services, including installation, monitoring, maintenance, and related low-voltage solutions. By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Code Security Alarms provides low-voltage services including alarm system installations, surveillance cameras, access control systems, music and audio systems, structured cabling, monitoring, and maintenance plans. Specific service details will be outlined in your signed agreements.

2. Fees & Billing

  • All fees are billed according to the service agreement or invoice.

  • Monitoring and subscription services are billed monthly in advance and processed automatically using the payment method provided.

  • Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information.

  • Late or missed payments may result in suspension of services.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Monitoring and service agreements renew monthly unless canceled.

  • Customers must provide at least 30 days’ written notice to cancel monitoring services.

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be determined based on the remaining service term and usage.

  • Cancellation requests must be made directly by contacting Code Security Alarms; cancellations cannot be made through the client portal.

4. Equipment Ownership

  • Purchased equipment becomes the property of the customer upon full payment.

  • Any leased or rented equipment remains the property of Code Security Alarms and must be returned in good condition upon cancellation or termination of services.

  • Customers are responsible for the care and protection of installed equipment.

5. Maintenance & Service Calls

  • Routine maintenance is provided under separate maintenance agreements.

  • Emergency service calls outside regular maintenance may incur additional charges.

  • Customers are responsible for providing property access to complete service calls.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Code Security Alarms is not an insurer and does not guarantee that losses will not occur.

  • We are not responsible for damages caused by burglary, fire, weather, power outages, internet failures, or other events beyond our control.

  • Our liability is limited to the total fees paid by the customer in the 12 months prior to the claim.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date contact and billing information.

  • Maintain proper use of installed equipment.

  • Promptly notify Code Security Alarms of system malfunctions or changes in property use.

  • Pay all service fees, invoices, and penalties associated with false alarms or noncompliance with local regulations.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.
